The proposed locations of the soil borings and monitoring well are depicted <br /> in Figure 2. <br /> Soil probe borings advancement and soil sampling will be established under procedures detailed <br /> established in the Interim JVork Plan -June 1995 approved by the PHS-EHD. Grab water samples <br /> will be collected from four of the soil probe borings using a Geoprobe water sampling assembly. <br /> Samples will be collected in 40-m1 VOA vials. labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported <br /> under chain-of-custody to a state-certified laboratory. <br /> The construction and installation of the ground water monitoring well will in accordance with <br /> procedures established in the 11"ork Plan .4ddendunn - June 1997, approved by the PHS-EHD. <br /> Sampling will be conducted %with continual quarterly motoring. <br /> Soil and water samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified asgasoline <br /> (TPH-g.), volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene. ethyl benzene and total xylenes: BTE&X) and the <br /> oxygenating fuel additives: methyl-tert-butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di- <br /> isopropyl ether (DIPS). ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE) and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) <br /> in accordance with EPA Methods 8015. 8020 and 8260m. respectively. <br /> Quarterly reports will be submitted to the PHS-EHD and the CVRWQCB. The quarterly reports will <br /> include analytical results and field data collected at the site. Quarterly reports will be reviewed and <br /> signed by a California Registered Geologist. <br /> A Site Health and Safety Plan is currently on file for the site.
