MONITORING PLAN <br />Beacon Station #1-695 <br />900 S. Cherokee Lane <br />Lodi, CA 95240 <br />I. Continuous monitoring on product lines. <br />Red Jacket leak detector <br />When the Red Jacket leak detector goes into slow flow, call <br />Sandy Edwards (209) 583-3347 or <br />Melissa Wescoat (209) 583-3381 <br />II. Continuous monitoring of annular space. <br />Gilbarco TM4 <br />When the TM4 goes into the alarm mode, the store <br />personnel are to call the manager immediately. The store manager is <br />to proceed as follows: <br />1. Call maintenance company to remove the annular space probe on both <br />the tanks, the product line and the sump. <br />2. Check annular space for liquid using the dip stick. <br />3. Have maintenance company check probe if no liquid is found, <br />or to find the problem if liquid is found. (Make sure you talk <br />to your zone manager or Melissa Wescoat for approval before any <br />work is done.) <br />4. Call Sandy Edwards (209)583-3347 with the results. <br />III. All product lines and leak detectors are tested on an annual basis and/or <br />as required by the local agency. <br />IV. Monitoring equipment will be tested per manufactors instruction and schedule. <br />V. The store manager trains the store personnel on the operation of the <br />leak detectors and the Gilbarco TM4 system. <br />VI. All leaks will be reported to San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />within twenty-four hours by Ultramar Inc.'s Environmental Department. <br />VII. Unauthorized releases will be removed from the secondary containment <br />system within 30 days. The product will be pumped out by a vacuum <br />truck. <br />The store manager will call the Hanford Office to have product in the <br />annular space pumped out. <br />SE/mas <br />11/12/93 <br />Monitor <br />
