3 0 May 1997 <br /> Y _ , <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0142 <br />' Page 6 of 6 <br />' Concentrations of TPH-g and BTE&X decreased in the sample collected from vapor wells <br /> VW-3 and VW-4, located immediately down-gradient and up-gradient, respectively, of the <br /> former TK1-90 UST However, the concentration of hydrocarbons did not significantly <br />' change'm the sample collected from vapor well VW-I' <br /> r <br />' 4 2 RECOMMENDATIONS <br />' Based upon past and present site conditions, AGE recommends the following <br /> • The next quarterly ground water monitoring should be scheduled for June 1997 <br />' Additional soil vapor extraction and/or in-situ air sparging wells should be,installed in <br /> preparation for active remediation,at the site AGE recommends initiating active in-situ <br /> I remediation at the site once approved reimbursement funding has been established from the <br /> State Water Resources Control Board <br /> • The concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons detected in the purged water do not exceed <br /> I - acceptable limits for discharge into the City of Stockton treatment plant Therefore, we <br /> recommend obtaining pennission from the City of Stockton to dispose of the purge water <br /> into the sanitary sewer <br /> 50. LIMITATIONS <br /> Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br /> environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon <br /> analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic <br /> I conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of data <br /> points(i a monitoring wells, ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from <br /> these data points- No other warranty, expressed or'implied, is made as to the professional <br /> recommendations contained in this report <br /> I < <br />
