1 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN <br /> November 1995 <br /> Stockton Plating <br /> 632 South El Dorado Street <br /> Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Bob Huntley of Stockton Plating, Advanced _ <br />' GeoEnvcronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Corrective Action Plan(CAP) for the site located <br /> at 632 South El Dorado Street in Stockton, California(the site) Included in the CAP are results of <br /> the quarterly ground water monitoring performed in September 1995, a report of findings from the <br />' installation of four soil vapor extraction wells and a vapor extraction test conducted in October 1995 <br /> The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site is depicted in Figure 2 <br />' The CAP is prepared in accordance with the California Underground Storage Tank Regulations, Title <br /> 22, Article 11 and San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division (PHS- <br /> EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the <br />' investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located along Scotts Avenue in an area or low topographic relief in southwest area of <br />' Stockton, immediately south of Mormon Slough and east of the El Dorado Street overpass Local <br /> land use in the vicinity of the site is industrial and commercial Residential areas are located <br /> approximately one-quarter mile south and east of the site <br /> i 1 <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> It is our understanding that two underground storage tanks(USTs) were removed from the property <br /> one 1,000-gallon leaded gasoline UST was removed from the site in August 1986 and one 2,000- <br /> gallon unleaded gasoline UST was removed from the site in 1990 Petroleum hydrocarbons were <br /> detected in soil samples collected from beneath both USTs at the time of removals Results of the <br /> UST removals were summarized in reports prepared by American Environmental Management <br />' Corporation(AEMC, 6 October 1986)and Condor Earth Technologies, Inc (CET, 2 January 1991) <br /> t <br /> 1 <br />
