The site is presently utilized to recycle automotive <br /> Two underground storage tanks (USTs) have been removed from the site <br /> 1 The first UST CM-86), which is believed to have been installed to the mid-i 960's, was <br /> removed m 1986 It is believed that TKI-86 was utilized only for leaded gasoline <br /> 2 The second UST (TKI-90), which is believed to have been installed in approximately <br /> 1974, was removed ui 1990 It is believed that TKI-90 was utilized only for unleaded <br /> gasoline <br /> Assessment work performed to date at the site has included installation of 4 groundv ater <br /> monitoring wells and several soil borings <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The selected consultant will be required to provide services to accomplish the follo%ving scope- <br /> of-work (SOW) Only the SOW presented should be bid Bids for �Nork other than that <br /> described in the SOW will be deemed unresponsive Bidders are therefore advised to follo-,v the <br /> IFB precisely in their responses Refer to Figure 1 for target locations <br /> SQ RCE, DLS-C WN <br /> The uutial task will be to provide data to discriminate between the two former tank locations as <br /> to the source of the known groundwater and soil unpi mat �veite Data been the T1CIe90 UUST cted g�}ii hests �e <br /> at <br /> the source of the currently known groundwater imp y <br /> believe to have historically contained unleaded fuel <br /> There are two goals for this part of the investigation <br /> 1 To obtain sufficient data to assess whether either or both of these tanks have the potential <br /> for impacting groundwater at the site <br /> 46 2. To obtain sufficient data to discriminate between relative impact from leaded and <br /> unleaded fuel sources <br /> Discrimination will be done by advancement of three CPT penetrations in soil pampling mode <br /> from ground surface to an approximate depth of 50 feet below ground surface (BGS) Three <br />
