' Quarterly Report - June 1999 <br /> Former STOCKTON PLATING Facility <br />' 632 South E1 Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Richard Leland of R and L Business Management of Stockton, Advanced <br />' GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report of field activities performed at <br /> 632 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California (the site) <br />' This report documents the quarterly monitoring results for June 1999 The site setting is illustrated <br /> in Figure I The locations of structures and monitoring wells on the site are depicted in Figure 2 <br />' Background information, including details of previous site assessment work, was presented in <br /> Corrective Action Plan - December 1995, dated 15 November 1995, and in Quarterly Report - <br />' March 1996, dated 05 April 1996, and in Quarterly Report -June 1998) dated September 1998, all <br /> prepared by AGE <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Monitoring and sampling were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public <br />' Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) In addition,field work was conducted <br /> in accordance with the PHS-EHD-approved Work Plan for Depth Discrete Hydrocarbon Assessment, <br /> dated 06 June 1998 <br /> 1 <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGING PROCEDURES <br />' On 23 June 1999, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in six <br /> monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-6) and four vapor wells screened in ground water (VW-1 <br />' through VW-4) at the site <br /> After ground water depth measurements, a minimum of three well volumes of water were removed <br />' from wells, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 and VW-1 through VW-4 using a submersible pump Wells <br /> MW-1 and MW-2 were not purged for sampling These wells have screen intervals approximately <br />' 15 feet below the upper level of the water table <br /> Approximately 9 to 15 gallons of water were removed from each well, according to the purge- <br /> volume requirements Temperature, pH, and electrical conductivity was measured in purged water <br /> at regular purge-volume intervals using an ICM water analyzer to monitor for stabilization of these <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> 1 <br />
