INTRODUCTION _
At the request of Mr _Richard Leland of R and L Business Management of Stockton, Advanced
' GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report of field activities performed at
632 South El°Dorado Street, Stockton, California(the site)
' This report documents the quarterly monitoring results for June 1999 The site setting is illustrated
in Figure i The locations of structures and monitoring wells on the site are depicted in Figure 2
' Background information, including details of previous site assessment work, was presented in
Corrective Action Plan - December 1995, dated 15 November 1995, and in Quarterly Report -
' March 1996, dated 05 April 1996, and in Quarterly Report-June 1998, dated September 1998, all
prepared by AGE
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
'• Monitoring and sampling were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) In addition, field work was conducted
' in accordance with the PHS-EHD-approved Work Plan for Depth Discrete Hydrocarbon Assessment,
dated 06 June 1998
I '
21 MONITORING WELL PURGING PROCEDURES
' On 23 June 1999, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in six
monitoring wells (MW-I through MW-6) and four vapor wells screened in ground water (VW-1
' through VW-4) at the site
After'ground water depth measurements, a minimum of three well volumes of water were removed
' from wells, MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 and VW-1 through VW-4 using a submersible pump Wells
MW-1 and MW-2 were not purged for sampling These wells have screen intervals approximately
15 feet below the upper level of the water table ,
'
Approximately 9 to 15 gallons of water were removed from each well, according to the purge-
volume
volume requirements Temperature, pH, and electrical conductivity was measured in purged water
' at regular purge-volume intervals using an lCM water analyzer to morutor for stabilization of these
physical parameters Purge water stabilization field data sheets are included in Appendix A Purged
' water was stored on-site in labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums
Advanced GcoEnviron mental, Inc
I
