INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of R and L Business Management of Stockton, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvlronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report of ground water monitoring <br /> activities performed at 632 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California(the site) This report details <br /> the collection of ground water samples from the site on 19 March 1998 and the results of the <br /> laboratory analyses of the samples The site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1 - <br /> Location Map The locations of structures and monitoring wells on the site aie depicted in Figure <br /> 2 -Site Plan <br /> Monitoring and sampling were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)and the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites <br /> Background information, including details of previous site assessment work, was presented in the <br /> • March 1996 Quarterly Report dated 05 April 1996 and in the Cori ective Action Plan - December <br /> 1995, prepared by AGE <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGING PROCEDURES <br /> On 19 March 1998, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in all <br /> monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-5) and vapor wells screened in ground water (VW-I through <br /> VW-4) at the site The relative ground water elevation in each monitoring well and the hydraulic <br /> gradient were determined from these data points <br /> After ground water depth measurements, a minimum of three well volumes of water were removed <br /> from each of wells MW-4 and MW-5 and VW-1 through VW-4 using a submersible pump <br /> Approximately 8 to 15 gallons of water were removed from each well Temperature, pH, and <br /> conductivity were measured in purged water at regular purge volume intervals using an ICM water <br /> analyzer to monitor stabilization of these physical parameters Purge water stabilization data and <br /> field data sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled 55-gallon <br /> drums <br /> Advanced GcoEn%ironmcn1aI,Inc <br />
