' Stockton Plating Inc
Sail & Groundwater Investigation
April 19, 1994
Page
- 11 -
Petroleum hydrocarbons were found in the soil samples
collected from MW3 only. Laboratory analyses indicate that TPH-G
' and/or BTEX concentrations were detected at 20, 30 and 45 feet
below the ground surface in MW3 . No evidence of petroleum
' hydrocarbon was detected in soil samples collected from MW1 or
MW2 . TEPH was not detected in any of the soil samples collected
' from the monitor well boreholes .
5.2 Groundwater Samples
' The groundwater samples collected from MW1, MW2, and MW3
were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene
(BTEX) by EPA Method 602, for total petroleum hydrocarbons,
quantified as gasoline (TPH-G) by Method 5030/LUFT, and for total
extractable petroleum hydrocarbons, quantified as diesel (TEPH)
by Method 3510/LUFT. See Table 2 below and Figures 4, 5, and 6
for laboratory results . Laboratory report sheets indicating
analytical methods used, detection limits, and results of
analyses are contained in Appendix B.
I
A
p CONDOR
