f f <br /> Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring Report - First Quarter 2001 <br /> FORMER STOCKTON PLATING FACILITY <br /> 1 <br /> 632S outh El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> I10 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Richard Leland of R and L Business Management of Stockton, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this report for 632 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, <br /> California(the site) This report documents the quarterly monitoring results for February 2001 The <br /> site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 The locations of structures and moruf6ring wells on the site are <br /> -depicted in Figure 2 <br /> Background information, including details of previous site assessment work, was presented in s <br /> M previous AGE reports including, Corrective Action Plan, dated 15 November 1995, Quarterly <br /> I' Report -March 1996, dated 05 April 1996 and in Quarterly Report-June 1998, dated September <br /> 1998 , <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> •' „Monitoring and sampling were performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) In addition,field work was conducted <br />' in accordance with the PHS-EHD-approved work plan Installation of Depth Discrete Wells, dated <br /> 10 December 1999 <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGING PROCEDURES ` <br />' On 12 February 2001, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in , <br /> eight monitoring wells'(MW-1 through MW-8) and four vapor wells (VW-1 through VW-4) The ` <br />' top of the screened intervals in wells MW-1 through MW-3 are approximately 15 feet below the <br /> ground water surface therefore the well were not purged or sampled <br /> 1 , <br />' After ground water depth measurements, a minimum of three casing-water volumes of water'were <br /> removed from wells MW-4 through MW-8 and VW 1 through VW-4 using a submersible pump <br /> Temperature,pH, and electrical conductivity were measured at regular intervals using a Hydac water <br /> analyzer,Purge water stabilization field data sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was <br />' stored on-site in labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums <br /> r ,r <br /> 11 <br />
