' 3 2 GROUND WATER TREATMENT RESULTS
„
Between 12 November 2004 and 17 March 2005, the pump-and-treat system was operational
' Utilizing a Blue-White Industries F-2000 flow meter, a total flow of 442,213 gallons(totalizer)was
recorded during the operational period (Table 3) Based on the discharged water recorded on the
meter,AGE estimated that on an average approximately 2,200 gallons of water were discharged per
day
' 3 2 1 Laboratory Analysis of Influent Ground Water Samples
TPH-g and BTEX compounds were detected in the influent samples from wells EW-1, VW-1 and
' VW-3
• On 15 December 2004 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-tat 1,500 micrograms
' per liter(µg/1),BTEX compounds were detected in the sample at 170 µg/1 benzene, 150µg/1
toluene,54 gg/1 ethylbenzene and 160 µg/1 xylenes and TPH-g was detected in sample VW-
