<br /> 23 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF EXTRACTION WATER SAMPLES
<br /> Influent and effluent water samples collected during the fourth quarter 2005 and the first quarter
<br /> 2006 monitoring activities were submitted for laboratory analysis for the constituents listed in
<br /> section 2 1 1 Results are summarized below
<br /> 2 3 1 Laboratory Results of Influent Ground Water Samples
<br /> TPH-g and BTEX compounds were detected in the influent samples from wells EW-1, VW-1 and
<br /> VW-3 as follows
<br /> • On 13 October 2005 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-1 at 1,700 micrograms per
<br /> liter(µg/1)and sample VW-1 at 26,000}ig/l BTEX compounds were detected in the sample
<br /> EW-1 at 260 µg/1 benzene, 160 µg11 toluene, 73 gg/l ethylbenzene and 170 µg/1 xylenes and
<br /> in sample VW-1 at 3,700 µg/l benzene, 3,700 µg/l toluene, 410 µg/l ethylbenzene and
<br /> 1,900 µg/l xylenes MTBE was not detected in the influent samples
<br /> • On 16 November 2005 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-1 at 1,600 µg/l and
<br /> sample VW-1 at 23,000µg/1 BTEX compounds were detected in the sample EW-1 at 130
<br /> µg/l benzene, 240 gg/l toluene, 42 µg/1 ethylbenzene, and 180 µg/l xylenes and in sample
<br /> VW-1 at 2,500 µg/1 benzene, 2,500 µg/1 toluene, 460 µg/1 ethylbenzene, and 2,700 µg11
<br /> xylenes MTBE was detected in samples EW-1, VW-1 and VW-3 at 1 6 µg/l, 20 Pg/l, and
<br /> 1 5 µg/l, respectively
<br /> • On 13 December 2005 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-1 at 1,400 µg/l and
<br /> sample VW-1 at 18,000µg/1 BTEX compounds were detected in the sample EW-1 at 110
<br /> µg/l benzene, 150 µg/1 toluene, 42 gg/l ethylbenzene and 120 pg/1 xylenes and in sample
<br /> VW-1 at 3,400 µg/1 benzene, 3,100 µg/1 toluene, 670 µg/1 ethylbenzene and 2,200 gg/l
<br /> xylenes MTBE was detected in EW-1 at 19 µg/l and in VW-1 at 17 µg/l
<br /> • On 16 January 2006 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-1 at 1,600 µg/1 and sample
<br /> VW-1 at 25,000µg/l BTEX compounds were detected in the sample EW-1 at 130 µg11
<br /> benzene, 210 µg11 toluene, 70 µg/1 ethylbenzene, and 200 µg/1 xylenes and in sample VW-1
<br /> at 2,900 µg/1 benzene, 4,600 µg/1 toluene, 360 gg/l ethylbenzene and 2,100 gg/l xylenes
<br /> MTBE was detected in EW-1 at 2 6 µg/l and in VW-1 at 13 µg/l
<br /> • On 16 February 2006 TPH-g was detected in influent sample EW-1 at 2,400 gg/1 and sample
<br /> VW-1 at 24,000µg/1 BTEX compounds were detected in the sample EW-1 at 260 µg/l
<br /> benzene, 110µg/1 toluene,4 7 µg/l ethylbenzene,and 250 gg/1 xylenes and in sample VW-1
<br /> at 3,100 µg/1 benzene, 4,800 gg/l toluene, 400 gg/l ethylbenzene and 2,100 gg/l xylenes
<br /> MTBE was detected in EW-1 at 2 0 µg/1
