a <br /> f( <br /> GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. <br /> 1714 Main Street <br /> Escalon,California 95320-1927 <br /> Telephone (209)838-9888 l! l3 E C E�v17 E D <br /> Facsimile (209)838-9883 <br /> A R R 3 0 2003 <br /> April 28, 2003 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> Ms Lori Duncan PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject First Quarter 2003 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> 640 N El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> This letter report presents the results of first quarter 2003 groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at the subject site (Figure 1) <br /> 1.0 SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> Activities at the site included <br /> • Removing free product from well MW3, <br /> • Monitoring water level elevations in all site wells, <br /> • Purging wells MW 1, MW2, and MW4 and monitoring pH, temperature and electrical conductivity of <br /> groundwater, <br /> • Collecting groundwater samples from wells MW 1, MW2, and MW4, <br /> • Analyzing groundwater samples for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including oxygenated <br /> gasoline additives and lead scavengers, <br /> • Removing waste generated during site activities <br /> 2.0 FIELD WORK <br /> 2.1 Free Product Measurement and Recovery <br /> A Ground Zero technician measured and removed free product from well MW3 periodically during <br /> the reporting period The thickness of measured product during the reporting period ranged from a <br /> low of 0 23 feet on January 27, 2003 to a high of 0 53 feet on February 4, 2003 The average <br /> measured product thickness between January 6 and April 1 was 0 38 feet Approximately 11 8 <br /> gallons of product/water mixture was removed from well MW3 during the reporting period by <br /> manually bailing the product from the well The waste was stored on site in accordance with 49 CFR <br /> part 172 and 40 CFR part 262 Table 1 summarizes product thickness measurements and product <br /> removed Field notes associated with product bailing, including a chart showing the measured <br /> G IGROUNJ]ZEIGABBARDIreports1200311QM2003 doc <br />
