These items concern plating solutions in use as a part of <br /> the plating process not hazardous waste. <br /> The polishing room samples taken during the June 16, 2000 inspection have been analyzed <br /> for hazardous waste constituents by GeoAnaytical Laboratories. The Laboratory sample <br /> results show RCRA levels of cadmium @ 2.7mg/1 & 5.4mg/l in the dusts exiting the <br /> polishing room and polishing room floor sweep. The polishing room dust is a RCRA <br /> hazardous waste. The polishing room dusts are to be placed into a drum, labeled according <br /> to CCR(California Code of Regulations) section 66262.34, and transported through a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to a licensed disposal facility. <br /> The Return to Compliance dated July 15, 2000 has been received and placed in the file.
