RECI 1 W ED <br /> 1714 Main Street AUG 8 2091 <br /> Escalon, California 95320-1927 <br /> Telephone (209)838-9888 ENV1R0�. %iyT HEALTH <br /> Facsimile (209y s38-9ss3 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> August 7, 2001 <br /> Ms Lori Duncan <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report,2"d Quarter 2001 <br /> 640 N El Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> This letter report presents the results of the second quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at the subject site(Figure 1) <br /> 5 <br /> SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> Activities at the site included monitoring water level elevations, purging and sampling groundwater <br /> from site wells, analyzing groundwater samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd), total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons (TRPH), <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), oxygenated additives, volatile organic <br /> compounds(VOC), and dissolved lead, and disposing of wastewater generated from site activities <br /> FIELD WORK <br /> Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> Monitoring wells MW1 through MW4 were monitored and sampled on June 28, 2001 Groundwater <br /> elevations were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to groundwater in each well from the <br /> respective wellhead elevation The depth to groundwater in the wells on June 28, 2001 ranged from <br /> 21 90 to 22 45 feet below ground surface (bgs) Floating product was observed in well MW3, but its <br /> thickness could not be accurately measured without the use of an interface probe Groundwater <br /> elevations were again measured on July 13, 2001 Approximately 0 35 feet of free product was <br /> measured in well MW3 using an interface probe The depth to groundwater on July 13, 2001 ranged <br /> from 21 89 to 22 57 feet bgs A potentiometric surface map generated using the July 13, 2001 <br /> monitoring data is shown on Figure 2 Groundwater on July 13, 2001 flowed generally northeast at a <br /> gradient of approximately 0 003 feet per foot, or approximately 15 feet per mile Groundwater <br /> G kData1GROLTNDZE1GABBARDrreports12QM2001 doe <br />
