Lane <br /> The Corporate Safety Manager is responsible for establishing and directing the GZA Health and Safety program <br /> In this capability he sets policies with respect to SSPs and ensures that the requirements are implemented <br /> company-wide The Corporate Health and Safety Manager reports to the company president Mr Lane can be <br /> reached at(209)952-3481 <br /> PROJECT MANAGER. John Lane <br /> The Project Manager is responsible for the provisions and submittal of this SSP to the Site Safety Officer (SSO) <br /> and for advismg the SSO on health and safety matters He has the authority to provide for the auditing of <br /> compliance with the provisions of tlus SSP, suspend or modify work practices, and to recommend disciplinary <br /> action for mdividuals whose conduct does not meet the provisions presented in flus SSP The Project Manager is <br /> also responsible for ensuring that Training Programs are current for all personnel working on-site The Project <br /> Manager reports to the Corporate Safety Officer <br /> SITE SAFETY OFFICER: Anthony Scorna/John Lane <br /> The SSO is responsible for the dissemination of the information contained m this SSP to all GZA personnel <br /> working at the,job site, and to the responsible representative(s) of each subcontractor firm working for GZA at the <br /> ,lob site The SSO is responsible for ensuring the following items are adequately addressed Safety Supplies and <br /> Equipment Inventory, Accident/Incident Reporting Procedures, Decontamination/Contamination Reduction <br /> Procedures, General Safe Work Practices <br /> The SSO has the authority to suspend work anytime she/he determines the safety provisions set-forth in this SSP <br /> are inadequate to ensure worker safety The SSO shall also inform the Project Manager of individuals whose <br /> conduct does not meet the safety provisions of this SSP The Site Safety Officer reports to the Project Manager <br /> A SSO or the alternate must be present during the field work operations <br /> PAGE 11 <br />
