14 May 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0426 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> interval of all five wells Ground water elevations at the site ranged from 13 91 feet below MSL in <br /> MW2 to 14 13 feet below MSL in MW5 The ground water elevation at the site decreased an average <br /> of 108 feet between the August 2001 and November 2001 monitoring events The ground water <br /> gradient was calculated to be approximately 0 007 ft/ft with a northeasterly flow direction The - <br /> ground water elevation contours are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> 4 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was detected in the ground water samples collected from MW2, MW3 and MW4 at <br /> concentrations of 230 micrograms per liter(µg/1), 360 µg/1 and 53 gg/l, respectively <br /> Benzene was detected in the samples collected from MW3 and MW-4 at concentrations of 7 8 µg/1 <br /> and 0 83 pgl/l, respectively Toluene was detected only in the ground water sample from MW-3 at <br /> a concentration of 1 1 pg/1 Ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected in MW2 and MW3 at <br /> concentrations as high as 11 pg/l and 45 µg/1, respectively <br /> MTBE was detected in the sample collected from MW5 at a concentration of 5 0 pg/l No other fuel <br /> oxygenates were detected above laboratory reporting limits in any of the ground water samples <br /> collected <br /> The current and historical ground water analytical results are summarized on Tables 2 and 3 The <br /> laboratory report (MAI Lab IDs 83768 through 83772), chain-of-custody form and the laboratory <br /> QA/QC report are included in Appendix B <br /> 5.0.
