INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak of Charlie's Day and Nlte,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> (AGE)'has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 706 North El Dorado Street, y <br /> i Stockton, California Quarterly ground water monitoring was conducted on 20 February 200f The <br />' - site location and the surrounding area are Illustrated in Figure 1 Structures and improvements as <br /> well as boring and monitoring well locations are Illustrated on Figure#2 Background information is , <br /> ' summarized in the AGE report titled Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report - March r <br />' 1999;dated 26 March 1999 <br /> I <br /> 2.0, PROCEDURES � , <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br />' Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Division for investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST)sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as`outlined in the AGE-prepared- <br /> Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan dated 29 July 1999,,and approved by PHS-EHD by letter` <br /> dated 03 August 1999 <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> I ,On 20 February 2001, a Solimt water level meter was used to measure the depth to`ground water in I <br /> the three wells(MW 1,MW2 and MW3)relative to the tops of the well casings 'The 'relative ground ��U <br /> water,elevat ions and gradient were determined from these data(Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump was used to purge each <br /> r monitoring well of standing water Approximately 6 gallons of water, a minimum of 3 casing-water , <br />' volumes'evere'removed from MW-I and MW-3, approximately 7 gallons of water were removed <br /> from MW-2 Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at approximately 1:L <br /> { <br /> gallon intervals during purging using a Hydac,water analyzer` Field sheets and data are included In <br /> tAppendix A Purged water was stored on site in labeled, 557gallon DOT-approved drums <br /> 1 - <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br />' water sample was transferred into three 40-m1 VOA'vials containing 0 5 ml 18%hydrochloric acid ' <br /> • as a sample preservative After collection, the samples,were,properly labeled, placed in a chilled <br /> w <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> II <br /> ti I r + baa <br />
