SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected during this monitoring period, AGE concludes
• Ground water flow at the site was toward the northeast which is consistent with the April
2000 monitoring event and regional trends The ground water elevation has decreased
approximately 0 23 feet since the April 2000 sampling event [
' In general, TPH-g and BTE&X compounds have increased in MW2 and decreased in MW3
this quarter as compared to the Apnl 2000 sampling event TPH-g was detected in well MW 1
for the first time since quarterly monitoring began MTBE concentrations in well MW3
decreased this quarter to non detectable limits
F ,
F
Y , '
5.0. ' RECOMMENDATIONS
AGE recommends the following
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the ground water monitoring wells The next monitoring
event will be performed in October 2000
AGE recently submitted a work plan to install two additional ground water wells in the
down-gradient direction from monitoring well MW3 (Figure 2) The work plan has been
approved by the PHS-EHD and the installation of these wells is anticipated to occur in the
' third quarter of 2000
1
r
6.0.
