INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak of Charlie's Day and Nite,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc , <br /> (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 706 North El Dorado Street, <br /> Stockton, California Quarterly ground water monitoring was conducted on 24 April 2000 The site <br /> and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1- Location Map Structures and improvements as <br /> well as boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan Background <br /> information is summarized in the AGE report titled Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report <br /> -March 1999 ' <br /> h , <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin,County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> IOn 24 April 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the <br /> three wells relative to the tops of the well casings The relative ground water elevations and gradient <br /> Iwere determined from these data (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump was used to purge each <br /> Imonitoring well of standing water Approximately 8 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 w=ell-casing <br /> volumes) was removed from,each well Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were <br /> measured at two-gallon intervals during purging using a Hydac water analyzer Field sheets and data <br /> are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored at 121 West Park Street in labeled, 55-gallon " <br /> DOT-approved drums <br /> 1 , <br /> 22 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> water sample was transferred into 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0 5 ml 18% hydrochloric acid as a <br /> sample preservative After collection, the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled <br /> container and transported under chain-of-custody to Alpha Analytical Laboratories, Inc (AAL) The <br /> samples were analyzed for the following <br /> 4d+anced GeoEn%Lronmental,lite <br />
