Inc. (Chevron)
Service Station No. 9-0342 located at 1347 South E1 Dorado,
Lr Stockton, California (Figure 1) . Soil excavation is being
utilized as the first step in assessing the magnitude and extent
of subsurface hydrocarbon contamination. Groundwater Technology,
j
Inc. (GTI) believes that prompt removal of the contaminated soil
. in the vadose zone will greatly reduce the overall time required
;. to completely remediate this site.
This plan addresses the excavation of contaminated soil
around the former underground storage-tank locations. Soil will
be excavated to the apparent limits of contamination and./or to
the limits of the equipment. The removed soil will be stockpiled
on site pending proper treatment and/or disposal. Additionally,
three groundwater monitoring wells will be drilled on site to
determine if groundwater beneath this site has been impacted by
petroleum fuel hydrocarbons.
r i .
