Therefore, two additional soil borings were placed <br /> T� <br /> around former tank site TK1-86. <br /> .i 3.0 INVESTIGATION <br /> Prior to drilling activities, a soil boring permit was <br /> obtained from the San Joaquin County.Environmental Health <br /> F <br /> Department. Soil borings (SBI through `SB6) were drilled 3y <br /> Spectrum Exploration, Inc., of Stockton,. California, on September <br /> 20th, 23rd and 24th, 1991 (Figure 3). Condor representatives <br /> were on site to direct the investigation, make field observations <br /> and collect soil samples. Harlin Knoll of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department was on site periodically to <br /> observe the drilling activities. <br /> 3.1 Soil Barings <br /> �1 The borings were drilled using 6-inch A.D. hollow-stem <br /> -; continuous-flight augers.
