M, a• 3. '
* g ^
T .
Mr. John Margowski July 26, 1991
Wickland Properties
1765 Challenge Way
Sacramento, Ca. 95814
? (916) 921-1100
} FAX (916) 921-3510
RE: Update Assessment and Status Report #6 including the results
of the vapor recovery with the January-February-March, and April-
May-June, 1991, quarterly monitoring at former Regal Station 604,
located a 1448 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton, California.
Dear Mr. Margowski:
The following is the update of events that have occurred at this
site since Update Status Report #5-December, 1990.
i
s LOCATION
}
Regal Station 604 (parcel # 139-020-08) is located at 1448 N. El
Dorado and :larding Way, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.
The site is in projected section 2; T1N; R6E; MDS&M at
approximately 14 feet above mean sea level. Initial drilling
kd (November, 1989) encountered ground water at approximately. 32 feet
below sea level (47' below_ the' surface) and flowing in an east to
southeasterlydirection, see figures 1, 2, and 3A.
4
UPDATE STATUS REPORT #5 (December, 1990) CONCLUSIONS AND
RECOMMENDATIONS:
4
CONCLUSIONS
The results of ground water monitoring, November 21, 1990,
t indicate that the ground water has dropped approximately eight
f.. feet since early January, 1990, and is flowing predominately to
the southeast. Chemical results of the water samples taken from
the monitor wells show contamination to the ground water with
gasoline range hydrocarbons, see Table 1.
soil contamination is limited to between the 25 foot and 40 foot
--- ------- ----- depth-of-the eastern-and-western--portions-of-the-pump-island-_..-area---------- ----and southeast of the tank excavation, near soil boring SB2, see
Figure 3B. This contamination is of gasoline range hydrocarbons.
A vapor extraction source test indicates that approximately 59
pounds of gasoline range hydrocarbons can be pulled from the
i. formation per day via wells P1. P3 and EX at a flow rate of 30
cubic feet per minute. Also vacuum readings taken from the ground
s
page 1
s
