R604 :UPDATE 9-MARCH, 1992 <br /> EXCAVATED SOIL AND RINSEATE HANDLING <br /> All soil produced from the boring will be placed on and covered <br /> with, polyethylene liner, if field screening indicates the <br /> presence of hydrocarbons. <br /> All rinseate produced from the cleaning of the auger and sampler <br /> will be contained on site in 17H 55 gallon drums. <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> This site has been classified as Class D personal protection. <br /> Hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots and ear protection are <br /> required to be worn. In the event that field screening indicates <br /> that volatile organic compounds (VOC ' s) exists at the site, all <br /> personnel shall wear appropriate half face cartridge respirator <br /> with the black organic compound cartridges and particle falters. <br /> All personnel must carry their identification card showing that <br /> they are current with OSHA/SARA training. <br /> TIME FRAME <br /> March 31, - April 30, 1992 Twice weekly vapor stream <br /> analysis with three tames a <br /> day effluent sampling of the <br /> carbon absorption system. <br /> April 21, 1992 Monthly water gauging. <br /> May 5 , 1992 Submittal of January - <br /> March, 1992 , Update Status <br /> Report #9 . <br /> June, 1992 Quarterly ground water <br /> sampling. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report is based upon the following: <br /> A. The observations of field personnel . <br /> B. The results of laboratory analyses performed by a state <br /> certified laboratory. <br /> C. Referenced documents. <br /> D.
