R604 :UPDATE 26 1-21-1994 <br /> represent a recharge and/or a decline in water usage of the <br /> municipal wells located east of the site. <br /> Fecal coliform has been analyzed for monitoring wells MW3, MW4, <br /> MWS and MW6 on a monthly basis from December, 1991 through <br /> February, 1992 Only trace amounts of fecal coliform have been <br /> occasionally detected in any of the wells during those 3 months, <br /> see Table 2 <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> 1 Perform confirmation soil sample borings one near <br /> vapor extraction well VSB5, one near vapor extraction <br /> well VSB9 and one near vapor extraction well VSB11 <br /> 2 One more ground water sampling round to confirm that <br /> the current Primary MCLs for water quality have been <br /> met and that site closure is warranted <br /> 3 Submit confirmation sampling and last ground water <br /> sampling data for evaluation for site closure <br /> 4 Arrange a meeting with RWQCB and San Joaquin County <br /> Health to formalize closure request <br /> HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> This site has been classified as Class D persofial protection <br /> Hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots and ear protection are <br /> to be worn In the event that field screening indicates that <br /> volatile organic compounds (VOC' s) exists at the site, all <br /> personnel shall wear appropriate half face cartridge respirator <br /> with the black organic compound cartridges and particle filters <br /> All personnel must carry their identification card showing that <br /> they are current with OSHA/SARA training <br /> TIME FRAME <br /> February, 1994 Confirmation soil sample borings and <br /> last ground water sampling for closure <br /> of site <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report is based upon the following- <br /> A The observations of field personnel <br /> B The results of laboratory analyses performed by a state <br /> certified laboratory and WEGE' s non certified <br /> laboratory <br /> C Referenced documents <br /> D Our understanding of the regulations of the State of <br /> California, San Joaquin County and the City of <br /> page 7 <br />
