El Dorado <br /> Street and Harding Way, Stockton, California, under Authority to <br /> Construct Permit # AP 91- 106 <br /> Dear Mr. Margowski : <br /> As you have instructed, Western Geo-Engineers (WEGE) is <br /> continuing to check the effluent and influent of the system as <br /> outlined in Permit # AP 91-106 The following are the results of <br /> system monitoring for the period, February 22 to May 19 , 1994 . <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This letter documents the results of the ongoing sampling of the <br /> active carbon scrub controlled vapor extraction system at the <br /> above mentioned site . <br /> SITE STATUS <br /> CURRENT OPERATIONS <br /> During July, 1992 , four new vapor extraction wells were installed <br /> while drilling conformation soil borings at the site . The wells <br /> are VSB3 , VSB5, VSS9 and VSB11 Vapor extraction well P1 was <br /> drilled up and destroyed at this time <br /> The system was shut down on December 30, 1994 <br /> During February, 1994 , three conformation borings were drilled at <br /> the site Because field screening of the borings indicated the <br /> presence of possible contamination, the borings were completed as <br /> vapor extraction wells, VSB13 , VSB14 , and VSB15 . <br /> In order to treat the contamination discovered in these borings, <br /> the system was restarted, on February 16, 1994, to extract vapors <br /> from VSB13 , VSB14, and VSB15 . <br /> page 1 of R604 , 06/06/94 <br />
