contaminate of gasoline-diesel range. The main concern for
gasoline is its ignitability, the Worse case sample obtained is
far below that level, LEL=7%. Of the constituents that are found
in gasoline (Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylenes) only
Benzene is a carcinogene and its highest level was found to be
0.4ppm which is 4% of the exposure limit. The Aquatic Toxics test
showed that this soil does not exhibit the criteria for its being
classified as a hazardous waste due to toxicity and the TTLC/CAM
metals . TPH and BTEX chemical results rule out that this soil
should be classified as hazardous material under Article 9 section
- 66680, and Article 11 sections 66696 and 66702.
The soil designated as SP-1 is a nonhazardous waste that has been
self certified by Western Geo-Engineers for Wickland Properties.
LIMITATIONS
The conclusions presented in this report are based upon the
following:
A. The observations of field personnel.
B. The results of laboratory analyses performed by a state
certified laboratory.
C. Referenced documents .
D. Our understanding of the regulations of the State of
t California, San Joaquin County and City of Stockton.
The services performed by VEGE, Inc. have been conducted in a
manner consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by members of our profession currently practicing under
similar conditions in the State of California and the Stockton
area. Please note that the contamination of soil and/or ground
water must be reported to the appropriate agencies in a timely
manner. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made.
it
5
