R604 UPDATE 19 5--19-1993
INTRODUCTION
This report includes the results of events occurring at this site
since the 18th Update Status Report, from April 23 , through May
14 , 1993
LOCATION
Regal Station 604 (parcel # 139-020-08) is located at 1448 N E1
Dorado and Harding Way, Stockton, San Joaquin County, California
The site ' is in projected section 2 ; T1N, R6E, MDB&M at
approximately 14 feet above mean sea level Initial drilling
(November, 1989) encountered ground water at approximately 32
feet below sea level (47' below the surface) and flowing in an
east to southeasterly direction, see figures 1, 2, and 3 .
SITE ACTIVITIES
WEGE personnel have visited and/or monitored the site on April
23 , and May 14 , 1993 . Also a carbon change-out occurred on April
23 , 1993 all carbon scrubs were changed by EXCEL Trans And on
May 14 , 1993 , a slight odor was noticed from the effluent so a 85
gallon vapor scrub was added to the exhaust Lawrence Tank
Testing (LTT) has been contracted to visit the site twice a week
and remove any condensate that has formed in the vacuum laterals,
carbon scrubs and pumps and to also check for breakthrough of the
carbon units, via odor, see Appendix B This condensate is
removed to former Regal Station 603 and treated with the water
treatment system at that site During the month of April 1993 ,
LTT has recovered and removed 10 75 gallons of condensated water.
UPDATE STATUS REPORT #19
RESULTS - WATER
GROUND WATER GRADIENT
The ground water gradient map, Figure 4A, has been produced from
the April 15, 1993 depth to water measurements . These
measurements show a relatively flat ridge shaped gradient flowing
to the northeast (MW4) and southeast (MW2) Figure 4B represents
the most recent depth to water measurements obtained on May 14,
1993 . These measurements show a similar flow direction with a
minor valley forming from MW3 towards MW2 . Depth to ground water
measurements show a continual rase in ground water elevation
indicating a recharge event, as would be an expected result of
the conclusion of the most recent rain season
TOTAL PETROLEUM HYDROCARBONS
Floatang Product
No floating product has ever been observed an any of the
monitoring wells .
page 1
