' 3 0 CURRENT ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES <br /> Between May 3 and May 7, 2004, SECOR supervised the drilling of two (SB-1D D1 and SB bgs) <br /> onsite, deep, sonic borings (dual-hole, one for lithology and one for sampling) <br /> 1 Sod samples were collected continuously from 80 to 120 feet bgs and selected soil samples at <br /> 10 foot intervals were submitted for laboratory analysis Hydropunch groundwater samples <br /> were collected at depths of 100 feet and 120 feet in boring SB-1 D and 110 and 120 feet in SB- <br /> 2D All samples were analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, fuel oxygenates (MtBE, EtBE, TAME, TBA, <br /> DIPE, EDB, 1,2-DCA) and ethanol by EPA Method 8260, single run <br /> Soil samples from borings SB-1 D and SB-2D reported no detectable concentrations of <br /> ' 100' and SB- <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons Hydropunch groundwater samples SB-1 D(IIV)@ <br /> 1 D(W)@120' reported TPHg concentrations of 110 ppb and 80 ppb, respectively Hydropunch <br /> groundwater samples SB-2D(W)@110' and SB-2D(W)@120' reported TPHg concentrations of <br /> 92 ppb and 140 ppb, respectively Hydropunch groundwater samples SB-2D(W)@110' reported <br /> 1,2-DCA at a concentration of 0 72 ppb Based on the above data benzene, MtBE, and 1,2- <br /> DCA in groundwater has been ddel+coundwater ated at 120 <br /> nalytical data aet bgs by aee+n included Tables and Hg has5 and been <br /> i delineated to low levels g <br /> L+thology encountered in each of the borings generally consisted of slits and clays at depths of <br /> ' 80-100 feet and 110-120 feet, and sand from 100-110 feet Hydropunch groundwater samples <br /> SB-1D(W)@100' and SB-2D(W)@110' were collected to the sand layer present form 10 to ted <br /> 110 <br /> feet Hydropunch groundwater samples SB-1 D(W)@120' and SB-2D(W)@l <br /> lle <br /> to the silty clay layer present at 120 Boring logs are included as Appendix C <br /> Certified laboratory analytical <br /> lata if included as AppendixE documentation are included in <br /> Appendix D and field and laboratory procedures are <br /> • <br /> ' S August 13,2004 <br /> Updated SCM doc <br /> 77CP 6441105 0005 <br />
