Target shall maintain a program for the lawful storage, handling and <br />accumulation of hazardous waste, and for the lawful segregation of items that are in leaking <br />containers, as provided by Health and Safety Code section 25123.3 and California Code of <br />0--MMMMMM"aw ffesn-ma-am "OTOMWAm TI.M.N.Mim <br />5.11 Target shall maintain properly designated and designed hazardous waste <br />storage areas, which include the segregation of hazardous wastes, and shall conduct weekly <br />inspections of hazardous waste storage areas at each Target Facility, as required by California <br />Code of Regulations, Title 22, sections 66262.34 and 66265.174. <br />5.1. j. Target shall manage discarded or no longer usable non -empty aerosol <br />cans as universal waste aerosol cans or as hazardous waste aerosol cans as required by Health and <br />Safety Code section 25201.16. This includes, without limitation, returned non -empty aerosol <br />cans without actuators that are discarded or no longer usable. <br />5.1. k. Target shall manage (including, but not limited to, handling, storing, <br />transferring, transporting, and causing to be transported) and dispose of universal waste (as <br />defined in California Code of Regulations, Title 22, sections 66260. 10 ("Universal Waste"), <br />66261.9 and 66273.9) in compliance with all applicable requirements contained in California <br />Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 23, section 66273.1, et seq. <br />5.1.1. Target shall comply with employee training obligations as required by <br />California Code of Regulations, Title 22, section 66265.16, pertaining to handling of hazardous <br />waste, including but not limited to the requirement to maintain for a period of three (3) years, all <br />training documentation for each employee involved in hazardous waste handling at any Target <br />Facility.
