The report contains analytical results
from borings performed in October, 1990 which indicates on-site residual soil
contamination is present 30' below surface and contaminants have migrated to the west,
off-site, where it exists.at 25' below surface.
J
After applying analytical results obtained after over-excavation activities in February, 1990
and from borings in October, 1990 to the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Field Manual:
Guidelines for Site Assessment, Cleanup and Underground Storage Tank Closures, this
'office cannot consider site closure as recommended in Hunter's report.
:Based upon the analyses submitted for the soil removed and aerated, it appears treatment
`,is complete. This soil can be handled as uncontaminated and used for backfilling of the
excavation if desired.
x If you have any questions regarding this matter, contact Harlin Knoll, REHS, of my staff
at (209)468-3442. #
'Jogi Khanna, M.D., M.P.H.
''Health O i er
1j ` i
Laurie A.
