1
' 2. Drill six (6) 6" auger holes at the approximate locations shown
on Plate I. Auger holes to be drilled to about 35 feet bgl or to
depths sufficient to allow sampling the sand layer encountered at
' about 30' in the previously drilled boreholes; refer to Hate 11 .
3. Cuttings from each borehole to be described and lagged by the
R. G. as drilling proceeds.
' 4. Split--spoon samples will be taken every 5 feet from 15 ' bgl to
the bottom of each boring using properly prepared brass tubes. Each
' sample will be briefly described, sealed, labeled, and placed on ice
pending transport to FGL laboratory for analysis.
5. Soil samples will be transported to FGL Environmental under
' proper chain-of-custody, with instructions to test for BTEX using
EHD approved detection limits.
' 6. Drill cuttings will be placed in properly labeled and sealed
steel drums and stared onsite pending results of the laboratory
analyses.
7. All boreholes will be properly grounted with cement from total
drilled depth to the surface in accordance with County regulations.
All drilling and sampling operations will be supervised by a
Registered Geologist, and witnessed as necessary by a representative
of the EHD.
IPrograms for further work will depend upon the results of the
laboratory anal ses.
William J nter
cc: Normac, Inc. SERF-D G£pa'
Sprectrum Exploration.
