J. Hunter & Associates covering the re-excavation & re-sample
operations performed at the above address. Also included is a
letter from Mr. Peter Voskes, Operations Manager
for Normae, Inc. ,
owner of the property. Copies have been furnished to Mr. Voskes and
Jim Thorpe Oil, Inc.
Please review this report at your earliest convenience. There j
have been several incidences of vandalism, including cutting holes
in the chain link fence surrounding the excavation, and throwing
debris in the hole. Normac has had to repair the fence numerous
times, and is concerned about possible injury to children or stray
pets• As you know, turn around time an soil samples is a minimum of
two weeks, and the owners are anxious to close the file an this '
project as soon as possible.
l
It is my understanding that proposals for possible remediation
of the spoil are being solicited; the appropriate County agencies
will be contacted before proceeding with such work.
If you have any questions concerning this report, feel free to
contact either Mr. Voskes at (916) 482-2924, my office, (916)
972-7941, or Richard Thorpe at (209) 366-6175.
Yau s X,. lnc.
William r
cc: Norm
Jim Thorpe Oil , Inc.
i
