s <br /> t Wright <br /> E Environmental <br /> Services, Inc. <br /> Construction ♦ Engineering ♦ Remediation <br /> November 6, 1997 <br /> Project No 4111 <br /> Ms Dorothy Haley <br /> 1311 Madison Avenue <br /> Tracy, California 95376 <br /> Re Quarterly Sampling Groundwater Monitoring Well <br /> Haley Flying Services 21000 Paradise Road, Tracy, CA <br /> Dear Ms Haley, <br /> This report describes the monitoring well sampling at the above referenced site for the quarter <br /> ending September, 1997 Wright Environmental Services, Inc (Wright) was retained to <br /> coordinate sampling and chemical analysts of the site monitoring wells Previous reports are on <br /> file with the County of San Joaquin Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS-EHD) regarding the removal of impacted soil discovered during underground fuel storage <br /> tank removal Three monitoring wells currently exist on-site <br /> Field Sampling Procedures <br /> Three monitoring wells were sampled on August 25, 1997 The samplers proceeded to purge <br /> well volumes of groundwater from each well using a submersible electric purge pump (a <br /> volume calculation was done for each well following water level measurements) Purge water <br /> was stored on-site in barrels Measurements of conductivity, pH, and water temperature were <br /> obtained between each well volume, and noted on the attached groundwater sampling information <br /> sheets Once the readings stabilized over two purge volumes, aquifer water was assumed to <br /> enter the well Each well was then allowed to recharge to about 80% of the initial water level <br /> prior to sample collection <br /> A new disposable bailer was used to obtain each well groundwater sample Each sample was <br /> carefully poured into laboratory prepared containers leaving no headspace, capped, labeled, <br /> logged onto chain-of-custody forms and immediately placed on ice for shipment to Priority <br /> Environmental Laboratories Inc in Milpitas, California (a State Certified Testing Lab) Table <br /> 1 presents the groundwater monitoring well water level data <br /> Haley Wells Project No 4111 Page 1 <br /> 4220 Commercial Dr, Suite 5 .
