IT Corporation <br /> 4005 Port Chicago Highwdy <br /> Concord, CA 94520 1120 <br /> Tel 925 288 9898 <br /> Fax 925 288 0888 <br /> the � ' <br /> ,group- A llernber of The l f Croup w <br /> �J <br /> March 30,2001 r <br /> 1 - <br /> Mr Bob DeNinno <br /> ' 7-Eleven, Inc - <br /> 10220 S W Greenburg Road, Suite 470 <br /> Portland, OR 97233 <br /> Subject First Quarter 2001 Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> 7-Eleven Store No 19976 <br /> 1399 North Main Street <br /> ' Manteca, California <br /> IT Project No 779956 <br /> ' Dear Mr DeNinno <br /> This First Quarter 2001 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of monitoring and sampling <br /> t activities performed by IT Corporation at the subject site (Figures 1 and 2,Attachment 1) on January 16, <br /> 2001 A summary of activities conducted during this reporting period is provided below <br /> • Depth to water(DTW)was gauged in nine site-related groundwater monitoring wells MW-1, <br /> lop MWAA, MW-2,MW-4, MW-4A, MW-5, MW-5A, MW-6,and MW-7 <br /> • Groundwater samples were collected from the monitoring wells and submitted to a California- <br /> certified laboratory for analysis of benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes(BTEX), <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G), methyl4ort-butyl-ether (MTBE),tert- <br /> butanol (TBA),dusopropyl ether(DIPS), ethyl-tert-butyl ether(ETRE),and tert-amylmethyl <br /> ether(TAME) <br /> Monitoring results are for two depth intervals,shallow(about 30 feet below grade) and deep(about 50 feet <br /> below grade) Shallow wells are designated as MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6, and MW-7,the <br /> deeper wells are MWAA, MW-4A, and MW-5A Groundwater elevations are similar in wells screened <br /> within both depth intervals, seasonally fluctuating between about 14 to 17 feet below grade (about 17- 14 <br /> feet above mean sea level) <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring Data <br /> Before monitoring,each well cap was opened to allow the water level to each well to stabilize to <br /> ' atmospheric pressure The DTW was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top of the well casing <br /> using an interface probe <br />
