y • • <br /> IT Corporation <br /> 757 Arnold Drive, Suite D <br /> Martinez, CA 94553-6526 <br /> Tel 925 370 3990 <br /> Fax 925 370 3991 <br />' kheV';group. <br /> A Member of The IT Group <br /> April 12, 1999 <br /> Ms Carol Oz <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br />' Subject Survey of Sensitive Receptors <br /> Southland 7-Eleven Store#19976 <br /> 1399 N Main Street <br /> Manteca, California <br />' Site Code 1435 <br /> Ms Oz <br /> 1 IT Corporation submits this letter as a survey of sensitive receptors affected or threatened by the petroleum <br /> release at the subject site as requested by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services in a letter dated <br /> July 24, 1998 The scope of work included identifying all water supply wells within 2,000 feet of the subject <br /> site (Attachment 1, Figure 1 and 2) The well search was conducted at the Department of Water <br /> Resources(DWR) and the City of Manteca Engineenng Department In addition, every property within <br />' 2,000 feet of the site was surveyed to identify any water supply wells not on file at the DWR Attachment 2, <br /> Table 1 shows all wells identified within the area of the well search <br />' The site is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Main Street and Northgate Drive Land use <br /> to the immediate north is commercial and is occupied by car dealerships and a restaurant Land use to the <br />' south of the site is commercial and is occupied by an automobile dealership and rental car agency Land <br /> use to the immediate west is occupied by small business/office buildings and a comic store Residential <br /> apartments are located further to the west of the site An open field is located to the east of the site <br />' A review of Well Drillers Reports at the DWR identified twelve water supply wells within 2,000 feet of the <br /> subject site Five wells were identified to be within 1,000 feet of the site According to a telephone <br />' conversation between the City of Manteca Engineering Division and IT Corporation personnel, there are no <br /> municipal water supply wells within 1 mile of the site The nearest municipal supply well is located at the <br /> comer of Northgate Drive and Hoyt Lane, approximately 1 25 miles west(crossgradient) of the site <br />' On March 2 and 3, 1999, IT Corporation personnel conducted a survey of residence units within a 2,000- <br /> foot radius of the subject site Prior to conducting the survey, a parcel map was obtained to identify all <br /> properties and addresses within the search radius of the subject site A list of the residences surveyed is <br /> r included in Attachment 3 If the property owner or resident was not present during the survey a letter <br /> sensur Itr <br />
