PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a closure plan for removal of a
leaking underground storage tank site located at
1605 S. E1 Dorado St. , in the City of Stockton (APN 167-031-012)
on the southwest corner of the intersection of South E1 Dorado
St. and Second St. has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public
Health Services, Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD) . The
plan is a proposal for mitigation of hazardous substances which
contaminated the site due to unauthorized releases associated
with underground storage tanks (UST) which were located on the
property.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State
and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will
not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed
the benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination.
The closure plan is available for public review at PHS/EHD,
445 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, during normal
working hours, 8: 00 a.m. - 5: 00 p.m. If a request by any member
of the public for a public hearing is not received by San Joaquin
County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division by
May 5, 1992 the tentative decision shall become final on that
date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to
Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division at the
above address. Questions regarding procedures or specific site
should be directed to Michael Infurna, RENS, at (209) 468-3454 .
Dated: April 21, 1992
By: Laurie Cotulla, Program Manager, Unit IV
