El Dorado St., Stockton, California.
Dear Mr. Malm:
At the request of Mr. A ichael Collins of the County Environmental Health Division, tho
previously collected soil sample(ID#642-SEl-4.5)taken from beneath the concrete floor of the
community building at the above referenced site, has been reanalyzed under stricter detection
limit standards. The attached results (Attachment 1) indicate the sample is within the allowable
concentrations limits of the County and will allow site closure. I recommend you forward these
results to Mr. Collins with your closure request.
On a related matter, we received the attached correspondence (Attachment 2) from the County
regarding the four foot sample boring, It is our undexOm sing, based on the file review and
discussions with Mr. Hull, that Charles Hunt of the County BHD staff directed you to plates the
boring and was present when the initial sampling attempt was made. Because the initial
sampling attempt was unsuccessful in reaching the 48 inch depth requested by Mr. Soret,
RESNA was retained to obtain the sample. We recommend the boring be abandoned, as
requested by the County, however if Mf. Tull did secure a permit for the boring, the fws
requested in the letter may not be required.
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries
Russell W. 7uncal
CA Registered Geologist No. 3864
RWl/ggk
Attachments
raxrsu.-oos9z.prrr..
R-99% 09-08-92 01 : 59PM P002 #48
