It is the contractor's responsibility to conform to the provisions of all relevant laws, codes, ordinances, rules and <br />regulations. Work shall not commence without approved plans unless specifically allowed by the Fire Chief. All <br />inspections require the "APPROVED" job copy and job card to be available on the job site. <br />Inspections — Unless unusual circumstances arise, the developer shall provide at least twenty-four hours notice to <br />the Fire Department to arrange an inspection. Inspection requests may be made by calling the telephone number <br />listed above and scheduling either an A.M. inspection (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) or a P.M. inspection (1:00 p.m. to <br />4:00 p.m.). <br />Additional Fire Inspection Fee(s) — Additional fee(s) will be imposed for any additional fire inspections that are <br />requested. <br />Additional Fire Department Notes: <br />Fire Department Inspections - San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department Inspectors <br />along with Stockton Fire Department representatives shall inspect the UST System (tank, piping, <br />sumps, dispensers, etc.) during installation activities. Inspection appointments with the Stockton Fire <br />Department must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance (209-937-8271). Note -An approved <br />stamped set of plans with Fire Department Plan Check Permit Comments shall be on-site at all times. -. <br />Other Permits — Contact Building and Public Works Departments regarding requirements for <br />additional permits (e.g. electrical, plumbing, excavation, compaction and grading, etc.) and any work <br />impacting public streets, walkways, and rights-of-way. <br />Groundwater Wells -Wells being removed or destroyed require a separate permit from the purveying <br />water district. Please contact the appropriate water district for more information. <br />Underground Service Alert - Must be contacted at 800-642-2444 prior to the start of any excavation. <br />Final Approval 07/11/08 <br />
