Automatic Line Leak Detector Certification for Pressurized Piping - After testing, Certification <br />must be submitted to the San Joaquin Countv Environmental Health Department and a copy should be <br />dispersed to the Stockton Fire Department and should show the following: <br />- Date of certification; <br />- Manufacturer, model, and serial numbers; <br />- Audible and visual alarms were operational, and if printable, a copy attached; <br />If alarms are relayed to remote monitoring station, must show all communications equipment <br />(e.g.modem) were operational; <br />- Monitoring system set-up has proper settings, and if printable; a copy attached; <br />- All line leak detectors were operational and accurate within regulatory requirements; <br />- If deficiencies were found, how and when they would be corrected; <br />- Certification signed by technician, and their certification / license number documented (company <br />name and certification/license number found in LG105). <br />Dispenser Keys - Must be maintained onsite. <br />Portable Fire Extinguishers - Fuel dispensers, fill -pipes, or turbine pumps shall have: <br />- At least one charged portable fire extinguisher with a minimum rating of 4A: 40 BC <br />- Labeled "Fire Extinguisher" or "Fire Extinguisher Inside; <br />- Visible from all dispensing, fill -pipe, and turbine pump locations. <br />Signs - Motor vehicle dispensers shall have signs posted prohibiting: <br />- Smoking; <br />- Running vehicle engines during dispensing; <br />- Dispensing into NON -Approved containers. <br />UST Enhanced Leak Detection (ELD) Testing - Effective July I, 2003, if a new UST tank is installed <br />(This DOES NOT apply to piping, sump, dispenser, and monitoring system upgrades without new UST <br />tanks.), then after it is backfilled and the concrete is poured and prior to being put into service, the new <br />UST system must be tested with Enhanced Leak Detection (ELD). The UST operating permit will not <br />be issued until the UST passes the ELD testing. <br />Pipe Leak Testing Witnessed by the San Joaquin County Hazardous Materials Inspector and <br />Stockton Fire Department. After installation, but prior to backfilling, primary and secondary piping <br />conveying flammable or combustible liquid, before being covered, enclosed or placed in use, shall be <br />• Page 3 <br />
