(AGE); on your behalf forthe above-referenced <br /> site. By letter dated 24 April 2014, the EHD had directed the submittal of a work plan to define the <br /> vertical and lateral extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon contaminant plume down-gradient of <br /> monitoring well MW-5. <br /> In the work plan AGE proposes the advancement of four cone penetration testing (GPT) borings <br /> to total depths of approximately eighty feet below surface grade (bsg) and collection of grab <br /> groundwater samples from adjacent twin borings at approximately seventy-five to eighty feet bsg. <br /> AGE proposes to analyze the four grab groundwater samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary-butyl <br /> ether (MTBE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), di-isopropyl <br /> - - <br /> - ether (DIPE) , -tertiary=butyl alcohol (TBA)-- 1 ,2=d'Icholoethane-(1-,2=DCA)- and-1-;2=dibromoethane <br /> (EDB) . <br /> The EHD approves the advancement of the four proposed CPT borings at locations illustrated on <br /> Figure 2 of the work plan; and using soil lithology generated during the advancement of the four <br /> CPT borings, the EHD approves the collection of grab groundwater samples from saturated <br /> permeable intervals at depths of approximately seventy-five to eighty feet bsg from twinned <br /> borings advanced adjacent to the four CPT borings. <br /> Please submit an EHD boring permit application, Licensed Contractor's Declaration (LCD) form, <br /> encroachment permit issued by the City of Stockton, Master File Record (MFR) form and <br /> permit/inspection fees of $500. 00.
