(AGE) on your behalf for the above- <br /> referenced site. By letter dated 8 December 2014, the EHD had directed that a conceptual site <br /> model, a work plan to delineate petroleum hydrocarbon contamination east, northeast, and <br /> southeast of the above-referenced site and a work plan to install additional monitoring wells be <br /> submitted to this agency by 13 February 2015 . By electronic mail dated 11 March 2015 , the <br /> EHD commented about the Original Work Plan and directed additional information be <br /> submitted to the EHD to clarify and support proposals presented by AGE in the Original Work <br /> Plan, this following a telephone conversation that day between AGE and the EHD . <br /> In the Original Work Plan, supplemented by the Addendum containing a preliminary site <br /> conceptual model that identified two primary routes for contaminant migration from the former <br /> underground storage tank system , at approximately thirty-five to fifty feet bsg and at <br />'+ approximately seventy to eighty feet bsg , AGE proposes to: <br /> f Advance three soil borings, B9, 1310, and B11 , to a minimum depth of eighty feet below <br /> surface grade (bsg) using hollow-stem auger drill technology, at locations illustrated on <br />'1 Figure 3 of the Original Work Plan and Addendum ; <br /> • Install three additional monitoring wells , screened approximately seventy-five to eighty <br /> feet bsg , based on Feld observations targeting saturated soil consisting of coarse-grain <br /> sand , silty sand or gravel, during advancement of the pilot borings, at locations <br /> illustrated on Figure 3 of the Original Work Plan and Addendum ; <br /> • Collect soil samples from all six boreholes at five-foot intervals between five and eighty <br /> feet bsg for lithologic evaluation , chemical analysis and field screening for the <br /> presence of volatile organic compounds using an organic vapor meter with a photo- <br /> ionization detector; <br />
