17 March 2015
AGE Project No . 06- 1457
locations , ( Figure 3) a second boring will be advanced approximately 5 to 10 feet from
the initial boring locations and soil sampling will resume at the previously terminated
depth .
Field observations and analytical data collected during this proposed phase of
A
nvestigation will be used to develop additional cross-sections and update the site
conceptual model .
EHD Comment #3 : Specify that shallower zone monitoring wells will be installed if
field indications of contamination is encountered and complete the proposed
deeper wells in a separate boring .
See AGE response in comment 2 above .
EHD Comment #4 : Describe the decision criteria for selecting the final screen
interval for each of the wells based on field observations .
For shallow wells , it is anticipated that screens will be installed from 30 to 50 feet bsg ,
while intermediate level wells have been previously proposed at depths of 75 to 80 feet
bsg . All well screening intervals will be constructed at depths where coarse-grained ,
saturated soils have been encountered (i . e . sands , silty sands or gravels) . Wells will
only be constructed after EHD staff, a California Professional Geologist, and AGE field
staff has concurrently reviewed field data .
If you have any questions regarding this addendum or require further information ,
please contact our office at (209) 467- 1006 .
Sincerely , _
NPL GFO
EyS Cp
eoF ,PM R . 7jTcisf
Advanced GeoEnviron mental , Inc . c y r
F
No. 7473
Daniel Villanueva William R.
