July 11 2012 <br /> QUICK-N-SAVE #2 <br /> QUARTERLY STATUS UPDATE REPORT <br /> Facility Address: 2057 South EI Dorado Street, Stockton, California 95206 <br /> Consulting Co. / Contact Person: Stratus Environmental, Inc. / Ms. Sarah Salcedo, P.G. <br /> Consultant Project No: 2092-2057-01 <br /> Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No: Mr. Harlan Knoll, San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(SJCEHD) LOP Case No. 000698 <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER (Second Quarter 2012): <br /> 1. In accordance with SWRCB Resolution No. 2009-0042, this site is under a semi-annual <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling program (during first and third quarters each year); <br /> therefore, no groundwater monitoring/sampling was conducted during the second quarter 2012. <br /> 2. Due to the USTCF FY2011/2012 budget allocation of only $35,000 for this site, operation of the <br /> SVE system cannot continue within this budget constraint. The SVE system remained off during <br /> the second quarter 2012. <br /> 3. On June 1, 2012, the UST Cleanup Fund published the allocated FY2012/2013 budgetary amounts <br /> assigned to each claimant in the USTCF. This site was allocated a budget of $75,000 for the year <br /> beginning July 1, 2012. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Third Quarter 2012): <br /> 1. During the third quarter 2012, the soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation system will be restarted <br /> and will resume full-time operation. When operational, Stratus will visit the site at least twice each <br /> month to perform routine system operation and maintenance, optimize system performance, collect <br /> soil vapor samples for permit compliance and to assist in the evaluation of system effectiveness. <br /> 2. Conduct third quarter 2012 semi-annual groundwater monitoring and sampling activities (scheduled <br /> for July 12, 2012). <br /> Current Phase of Project: RS / IRA(O&M) <br /> Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring and Wells: MW-1, MW-2, MW-3 =(1Q and 30) <br /> Sampling: Wells: EW-1 EW-2, VW-1, VW-2, VW-3, VW-4(10) <br /> Groundwater Sampling Date: None during 2Q12 <br /> Is Free Product(FP) Present on Site: No <br /> Approximate Depth to Groundwater: 22.56 to 23.32 feet below top of well casing (during 1Q12) <br /> Groundwater Flow Direction/ Gradient: East-southeast/0.002 ft/ft (during 1Q12) <br /> ATTACHMENTS: None <br /> KAQuick N Save#2\Quarter1y\2012\Quick N Save#2 2Q12 QSR.DOC STRATUS <br />
