Dhillon, Assignee
C/O: Stratus Environmental, Inc.
3330 Cameron Park Dr., #550
Cameron Park, CA 95682
SUBJECT: FISCAL YEAR 2014/2015 BUDGET CHANGE REQUEST FOR CLAIM
NO. 15567, SITE ADDRESS: 2057 EL DORADO ST S, STOCKTON
The Cleanup Fund (Fund) received your Budget Change Request (BCR) for the above-
referenced claim on <<BCR_RECD» for $«BCR_AMT_REQ». After review of your BCR,
claim and site information, and recommendations resulting from the Fund's Five-Year
review for your site, if any, your request has been denied. The denial is based on the
following: ...
The October 13, 2014 budget change request (BCR) requests an additional $89,250 for
ongoing site remediation and groundwater monitoring. The Fund concurs with the local
agency that active remediation and site monitoring needs to be implemented immediately.
Current monitoring information has not been updated, in accordance with the local agency
requirements and therefore additional remediation funding is denied at this time. Please
submit a new BCR, requesting additional funding, once the site information has been
submitted to Geotracker.
If your scope of work changes or you have additional information to support your request,
please submit another BCR to adjust your budget as applicable.
Corrective action costs must meet the requirements of Article 11, Chapter 16, Underground
Storage Tank Regulations in order to be eligible for reimbursement.-/In addition, all
reimbursable corrective action work must be acceptable to the appropriate regulatory
agency. Only reasonable and necessary costs for corrective action will be eligible for
reimbursement. The Fund will review all reimbursement requests to determine if the costs
are reasonable and necessary to address impediments to closure identified in GeoTracker.
If you expend more than your fiscal year budgeted amount, the excess costs that are
determined eligible will be "pending costs" and will be deferred to a future date when funds
become available. If you have any questions, please contact the Fund at (800) 813-3863
or ustcleanupfund@waterboards.ca.gov.
FELICIA MARCUS,CHAIR I THOMAS HOWARD, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
1001 1 Street,Sacramento,CA 85814 I Melting Address:P.O.Box 100,Sacramento,Ca 85812-0100 I www.waterbowds.ca.gov
C'p RECYCLED PAPER
