To extract groundwater from 2 existing on-site remediation wells EW-1 and EW-2. <br /> 2. To perform on-site groundwater remediation (treatment) of the contaminated water and <br /> discharge effluent into the City of Stockton (COS) sanitary sewer. <br /> 3. The purpose of this scope of work is to reduce groundwater contaminant concentrations <br /> to levels that will allow the site for closure under the criteria established by the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board's 'Low Threat Closure Policy `. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. A groundwater extraction pilot test was completed in 2005. The conclusion in the pilot <br /> test report was that groundwater extraction was a viable remediation technology and <br /> the recommend was to implementation utilizing EW-1 and EW-2. <br /> 2. All required permits must be obtained prior to performing work on the remediation <br /> system. <br /> 3. The COS must be notified and any necessary permits secured prior to effluent <br /> discharge. <br /> 4.
