SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes
' Generally, an orange-brown, dry, clayey silt (fill matenal),was encountered from surface
grade to approximately 6 feet bsg Orange brown to brown, dry, silts, clayey silts and silty
' sands were encountered from approximately 6 feet bsg to 16 feet bsg in borings MW 1,MW2
and B1 and from approximately 6 feet to 26 feet bsg in MW3 Orange brown to blue grey
hydrocarbon stained, moist, clay was encountered from approximately 16 feet to 31 feet bsg
' in MW1, MW2 and B1 and from 26 to 31 feet bsg in the area of MW3 Gray hydrocarbon
stained, moist to saturated silty sand was encountered from approximately 31 feet bsg to 45
feet bsg in borings MW2, MW3 and B1 and from 31 feet bsg to 36 feet bsg in boring MW 1
' Blue hydrocarbon stained, clay was encountered from approximately 36 feet bsg to 45 feet
bsg in soil boring MW1 and from 46feet bsg to 50 feet bsg in boring B1
' TPH-g was detected in soil samples collected from borings MW3 and B1 at a maximum
concentration of 49 mg/kg (B1-35), BTEX compounds were detected at maximum
concentrations of 1 7 mg/kg benzene (B1-35), 2 9 mg/kg toluene (B1-35), 0 82 mg/kg
' ethylbenzene (MW3-30) and 5 1 mg/kg total xylenes (MW3-30)
• MTBE was detected in soil samples collected from borings MW through MW3 and B1 at
' maximum concentrations of 35 mg/kg in sample B 1-35 TAME was detected in a soil sample
collected from boring B1-35 at a concentration of 0 22 mg/kg
• The vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil is defined in borings MW2 and
' MW3 Hydrocarbon contamination was not detected below 35 feet bsg in MW2 and MW3
In the areas of MW 1 and B1 the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impact is not
defined The lateral extent of soil contamination has not been defined in any direction
• TPH-g,MTBE and BTEX compounds were detected in ground water samples collected from
. wells MW l through MW3 at maximum concentrations of 14,000 µg/1 TPH-g, 10,000 µg/1
' Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc
4
