INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Zeb Kahn of Quick-N-Save#2, Advanced GeoEnvironrriental,Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared the enclosed Excavation and Sampling Report for the property located at 2057 South El <br />' Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br /> On 12 May 2000, approximately 372 cubic yards of hydrocarbon-impacted soil in the area of the <br /> ' former USTs were excavated and stockpiled on site Additionally, eleven soil samples from the <br /> M excavated soil were submitted for laboratory analysis On 25 May 2000, approximately 522 cubic <br />' yards of stockpiled soil were transported to Forward, Incorporated a licenced landfill for disposal <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br />' Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services- <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EIAD) related to the subsurface investigations of the former <br /> underground storage tank (UST) systems <br /> F <br /> • 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' A gasoline station and mini-mart resents occupy the site Three USTs were removed from the site <br /> g presently PY <br /> in October 1999 by Stockton Service Station Equipment (SSSS) Approximately 150 cubic yards <br />' of hydrocarbon-impacted soil associated with the UST removals were excavated and stockpiled on <br /> the site A new UST system was installed on the site in November 1999 <br /> I <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br />' The site is bounded on the north by Delhi Street and on the east by El Dorado Street Residential <br /> properties lies south and west of the site, commercial property lies east of the site <br /> 1 <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br />' Three USTs and associated piping and dispenser island were removed from the site on 06 October <br /> 1999 Seven samples were collected beneath the USTs, four samples were collected beneath the <br />' dispenser area, two soil samples were collected from piping trenches and six discrete soil samples <br /> were collected from the excavated soil <br />' Methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) and/or tertiary butanol(TBA) were detected in each of the soil <br /> . samples collected from the stockpiled soil at the site Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as <br /> gasoline(TPH-g)were detected at concentrations as High as 2,100 milligrams per kilogram(mg/kg) <br /> I <br /> I ' i <br />
