INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Zeb Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />' quarterly report for the property located at 1901 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California(site) <br /> The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structure,boring and well locations are <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in Appendix A Groundwater <br /> analytical data from the current and previous investigations can be found in Tables 1 and 2 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' On 17 November 2004, ground water monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4 were monitored and <br /> sampled Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) for the investigation of underground storage <br /> tank(UST) sites <br />' . 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> The depth to ground water in each monitoring well was measured from the top of the well casing to <br />' the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevation in each well was <br /> calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation <br /> (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured, between 6 0 and 12 0 gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing- <br /> water volumes per well)were purged from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4 using a Watera- <br />' Hydro-Lift I1 pump equipped with a mechanical arm utilized to surge each well with a dedicated <br /> polyethylene hose Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular <br /> intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in <br />' Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums <br />' 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' After allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume,water <br /> .samples were collected from each purged well utilizing 518-inch outer diameter, length-discrete <br /> polyethylene hose equipped with a ball-valve water tip and Watera-Hydro-Lift 11 pump Each water <br /> I sample was transferred into laboratory-supplied 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials <br /> containing 0 5 ml of hydrochloric acid as preservative After collection, the samples were properly <br /> labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under chain of custody to Cal Tech <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br />
