SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br />' Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes <br /> • Generally, an orange-brown, dry, clayey silt (fill material),was encountered from'surface <br /> grade to approximately 6 feet bsg Orange brown to brown, dry, silts and clayey silts were <br /> encountered from approximately 6 feet bsg to 26 feet bsg Orange brown to blue grey <br /> hydrocarbon stained, slightly moist, clay was encountered from approximately 26 feet to 36 <br /> I feet bsg in MW I, MW2 and MW3 and from 20 to 24 feet bsg in the area of MW4 Gray <br /> hydrocarbon stained, moist to saturated silty sand was encountered from approximately 36 <br /> feet bsg to 53 feet bsg Blue hydrocarbon stained,clay was encountered from approximately <br /> I53 feet bsg to 55 feet bsg <br /> • TPH-g was detected in soil samples collected from borings MW1 through MW4 at a <br /> I maximum concentration of 5 7 mg/kg (MW3-45), BTEX compounds were detected at <br /> maximum concentrations of 0 054 mg/kg benzene, 0 072 mg/kg toluene, 0 12 mg/kg <br /> ethylbenzene and 0 20 mg/kg total xylenes <br /> • MTBE was detected in soil samples collected from borings MW2 and MW4 at maximum <br /> concentrations of 0 30 mg/kg in sample MW2-35 <br />' • The vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil is defined in bonngs MW1, <br /> MW3 and MW4 Hydrocarbon contamination was not detected below 50 feet bsg in MW 1, <br /> MW3 and MW4 <br />' • The lateral!extent of soil contamination has not been defined <br /> • TPH-g, MTBE, BTEX compounds were detected in groundwater samples collected from <br /> Iwells MW 1 through MW4 at maximum concentrations of 82,000 gg/1 TPH-g, 11,000 gg/1 <br /> MTBE, 6,300 gg/1 benzene,,4,000 gg/1 toluene, 1,100 gg/l ethylbenzene and 5,200 gg/l <br /> xylenes <br /> • 1,2-DCA was detected in the ground water sample from well MW2 at a concentration of <br /> 4 6 gg/l <br /> • Petroleum hydrocarbon impact to ground water is not defined in any direction <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
